JOB SUMMARY

Participates in the maximization of hotel turnover for the group and individual segments in rooms and banquets.
Performs analyses and recommendations for the hotel's strategy at the pricing and inventory level, for individual guests, groups, and banquets.
Participates in inventory management,
Establishes sales forecasts and analysis of group requests.
Performs ad hoc analyses and report preparation.

CONTEXT:

The JW Marriott Cannes hotel is a 5-star hotel with 263 rooms. It has 16 meeting rooms, a restaurant, a panoramic terrace, an 825-seat auditorium and a swimming pool. Our hotel welcomes an upscale clientele, business or tourism and mainly foreign.

The Ac Ambassadeur Hotel is a 4-star hotel with 221 rooms. It has meeting rooms, two swimming pools, and a restaurant.

Experiences

Experience in revenue management or sales/reservations
Be a bachelor's or master's degree in revenue management ideally
Take an interest in numbers, statistics and mathematics

MAIN MISSIONS:

Generate profitable revenue for hotels
Recommend and maintain rational and consistent pricing in terms of individuals, groups, and banquets
Keep all Revenue Management systems, tools and OPERA up to date
Recommend and maintain a consistent inventory across all systems
Perform the loading of tariffs
Prepare for the weekly meeting (Revenue Strategy meeting packages) and its minutes
Analyze competitive pricing and market trends
Support the booking team during busy periods such as the film festival or summer
Perform analyses and critique strategies and promotions with recommendations
Work closely with the Revenue Strategy Director and the Revenue Manager on sales forecasts, budgets
Balanced thinker – is able to see the big picture but also to go into detail
Know the layout of the hotel including rooms, floors, conference spaces and facilities
Develop and implement a pricing strategy and policy
Conduct ad hoc analyses and keep a watch on the competition
